    It’s not unusual for businesses to make contributions, both in cash or services, to charities in need. This commitment to giving is particularly apparent in times of crisis or following a disaster of some kind. While a powerful storm, an earthquake or devastating flood causes many companies to increase their charitable spirit, it’s becoming more common for businesses to make contributing to the communities in which they work a year-round pledge.
