A fast-moving wildfire near Bryceville, a rural community located northwest of Jacksonville in Nassau County, Fla., has destroyed 10-15 homes and displaced more than 150 families, including their horses and livestock. According to local law enforcement officials, the fire was caused by an illegal burn of a homeowner burning paperback books on their property. There have been no reported injuries and everyone in the area has been safely evacuated to local shelters. As of 9 a.m EDT today, the 400-acre wildfire is 65% contained. Special thanks to all of our Northeast Florida first responders, some who came from as far as St. Johns County Sheriff's Office, to assist Nassau County Sheriff's Office and Florida Forest Service officials. Here are some impactful images from the scene, courtesy of WJXT4 The Local Station / News4JAX and Action News Jacksonville.

When the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, Inc. established the Trusted Choice brand in 2001, The Main Street America Group was the first carrier to step up and write a check to fund the program. Then in 2009, when the Big "I" initiated Project CAP to establish the "new" TrustedChoice.com, we were at the head of the class again, funding development of the portal. Main Street America remains the industry's champion of Trusted Choice and co-branding. In our “2016 Trusted Choice Highlights” feature in Main Street America's 2016 Annual Report: Partnering for Success (page 5), we focus on the tremendous growth of TrustedChoice.com. Our story describes the record-breaking success of the site last year, which celebrated its fifth anniversary, and features exclusive commentary from Trusted Choice.com CEO Chip Bacciocco and Big “I” CEO Bob Rusbuldt, as well as Main Street America agent-customers Steve Albinger of Couri Insurance Associates and Matt Baker of ThompsonBaker Agency, Inc.{"issue_id":391586,"page":6}

Since 2004, Main Street America has been a corporate partner to the Cummer. Our NGM Charitable Foundation supports the museum's impactful "Cummer in the Classroom" program, which hosted more than 3,600 students during the 2015-16 school year. We also have a team of employee volunteers participate in Cummer's annual VSA Festival.
