MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Insurance Marketing & Communications Association (IMCA) will host the next edition of its Leadership Webcast Series on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016.

The program, “Powering People-Based Marketing for Insurance,” will be presented by David Magrini, client partner at Merkle Inc., and is targeted to marketing and communications professionals at insurance agencies and carriers.

During IMCA’s Oct. 11 webcast, Magrini will discuss how people-based marketing creates an enormous potential to simultaneously increase conversion and return on investment while improving the overall customer experience – and how to overcome the difficulties in implementation. This one-hour live broadcast, which begins at 2 p.m. EDT, is free for all IMCA members and just $49.95 for non-members.

“Today, marketers must take advantage of digital marketing opportunities that are increasingly data-driven, programmatic, and addressable,” said Anna Hargis, director of advertising at Shelter Insurance and chair of the IMCA board of directors. “This can only be achieved by understanding and reaching actual people with relevant content — across media, channels and devices — that’s personalized to them as individuals. During his presentation, David will enlighten us on the evolution of direct marketing to people-based marketing, and how to implement this in our own organizations.”

Among the areas Magrini will focus on during this webcast:

  • Evolution of traditional direct marketing to today’s data-driven people-based marketing methodology.
  • Enabling people-based marketing through technology, data, analytics, and integrated workflows needed to manage interactions and enable the customer experience.
  • Activating people-based marketing strategies by using data and insights to understand audiences, develop creative and conduct media planning to deliver personalized optimized experiences to each customer.

Registration is required to attend IMCA’s Oct. 11 webcast. Please visit https://imcanet.com/events/event-registration/ for more information.
